    Chief Executive Officer

    Ken Bloom is the chief executive officer of INTTRA, the world’s leading web portal for ocean containerized freight.  At INTTRA, Ken and his team have worked to revolutionize how ocean freight paperwork is handled.  By offering ecommerce solutions that standardize business processes, INTTRA has created tremendous efficiencies for the industry today.  INTTRA has consistently grown faster than the freight market and now originates more than 15% of all global container traffic.

    Prior to joining INTTRA, Ken worked at Stolt-Nielsen, the bulk transportation and logistics company in Norwalk, CT, and at Bain and Company, the management consulting firm headquartered in Boston, MA. 

    Ken is also an independent director for H.J. Baker and Bros, Inc., a private company in Westport, CT engaged in the distribution of bulk fertilizer, feed and sulphur, and for Intermarine, LLC, a leading operator of heavy-lift, ocean-going vessels.  In 2007, he was named to the Leadership Roll of the Journal of Commerce, and in 2008 he received the Connie Award from The Containerization and Intermodal Institute.  In 2008, he also was named as a New Jersey Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. 

    Ken has a master’s degree in Operations Research from Stanford University and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from The University of Chicago.

  • John Debenedette

    John Debenedette

    Chief Commercial Officer

    John DeBenedette, Chief Commercial Officer, is responsible for Sales, Marketing and Customer Service at INTTRA and was previously Vice President of Technology.

    Before joining INTTRA, DeBenedette was Director of Information Technology for Schenker, Inc., where he spent seven years building e-commerce links with carriers and regulatory agencies, upgrading operational, web and ERP systems, and bundling technology into the overall logistics sales pitch to drive revenue growth with key accounts representing some of the world's largest and most complex global supply chains. John has completed executive and professional programs at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, New York University and the New School of New York.

  • Valerie Rainey

    Valerie  Rainey

    Chief Financial Officer

    As CFO, Valerie is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial modeling and process improvements.

    Prior to joining INTTRA, Valerie was Director of Finance at Pitney Bowes in their International Mail Services division.  This division was the consolidation of several acquisitions of privately held companies.  Valerie was brought in to reorganize the finance team and drive financial focus and accountability throughout the organization.  Valerie successfully integrated acquisitions, streamlined processes, instituted internal controls and SOX compliance testing. 

    Prior to joining Pitney Bowes, she was a Vice President within the Finance & Operations division for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Valerie was with the AICPA for twelve years and held several different positions in Finance & Operations, Strategic Alliances and the International arena. In her last role, Valerie had overall responsibility for the operations and risk management of the AICPA.  Valerie successfully led the relocation of the AICPA’s operations from New Jersey to North Carolina, a $35 million project which was brought in on time and under budget, resulting in an annual savings of $11 million.

    Prior to joining the AICPA, Valerie was in public practice for eight years with Ernst & Young and BDO Seidman, where she was responsible for client service engagements and various managerial functions. 

    Valerie is a Certified Public Accountant and received a Bachelor of Science and a Masters in Business from Fordham University.

  • Harry Sangree

    Harry Sangree

    Senior Vice President, Business Development & Corporate Strategy

    As Senior Vice President, Harry is responsible for Business Development and Corporate Strategy at INTTRA. He joined INTTRA in 2000, serving in a variety of positions including head of Product Management & Development.

    Prior to INTTRA, Harry co-founded and led ClearCross/Syntra Limited, a software company that automated global export operations for nearly one hundred of the Fortune 2000 companies. Harry held a variety of product-oriented positions, including functional architecture and product development. He also held corporate positions in Finance, Field Operations, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

    Harry's educational background includes a B.A. from Dartmouth College, a B.E. from Dartmouth's Thayer School, and an M.B.A. from Columbia University

  • Eric G. Winston

    Eric G. Winston

    Senior Vice President and General Counsel

    Eric G. Winston is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of INTTRA, Inc. Mr. Winston’s responsibilities include worldwide legal policies, corporate governance, compliance, intellectual property, employment law, patent law and legal support for INTTRA's various business units. He also manages INTTRA's Legal Department and its Compliance Program and serves as Secretary to the Board of Directors and Chairman of the INTTRA Risk Management Committee.

    Mr. Winston joined INTTRA in October 2001 as Director, Business Planning and Projects and was named General Counsel in October 2002.

    Prior to joining INTTRA, Mr. Winston was Director of Business Development for Newark-based Net2Phone, Inc., one of the world's leaders in delivering voice services over data networks. Before his work at Net2Phone, Mr. Winston was Director, Strategic Relations for Inlumen, Inc., a web-based application service provider and content aggregator for the financial services industry, in New York City. From 1994 through 1999 Mr. Winston was in private practice in New York City, where he specialized in complex civil litigation matters. From 1989 through 1994 Mr. Winston served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Kings County District Attorney’s Office in Brooklyn, New York.

    Mr. Winston received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Vassar College and his Juris Doctorate at the Emory University School of Law.

    Vice President, Technology and Customer Experience

    As Vice President, Technology and Customer Experience, Anthony has global responsibility for creating the vision of where technology is going and how likely it is to affect the firm’s product development and service delivery, creating the strategy for the use of the “proper” technology for the growing INTTRA product portfolio and the effective implementation of technology to achieve both operational effectiveness and business value. Additionally, Anthony maintains responsibility for the Customer Experience Organization which provides both Customer Care Support and Quality Assurance for INTTRA’s Commercial Products.

    Anthony has held various technology leadership positions in such verticals as Financial Services, Insurance & Banking, Consumer Products, Retail and SaaS companies for more than 30 years. Anthony holds an A.A.S degree in Computer Programming from Bergen Community College in New Jersey and has attended various leadership curriculums including the Leadership Development Program (LDP) offered by the Center for Creative Leadership of Greensboro, North Carolina, Technology Architecture Strategies offered by MIT, Cambridge, Massachusetts and The CIO Pocket MBA offered by Boston University, Boston, Massachusetts.

    Anthony is also a member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) and various Client Advisory Boards for multiple technologies such as, Business Integration, Security, High Availability, Storage, Cloud Computing and Call Center Technologies.

    Vice President, Product Delivery and Corporate Program Management

    Jim Whalen is Vice President of Product Delivery and Corporate Program Management and leads the delivery teams responsible for INTTRA’s R&D investment governance, program execution, product solution support, and customer network onboarding. 

    Jim brings over 25 years of experience managing complex product and delivery programs for the Telecommunications industry in both large and mid-size growth companies.  Prior to joining INTTRA, he spent 15 years in senior management positions at AT&T in Business Systems, Billing Operations, and International Strategy.  In these positions, Jim led key initiatives to reengineer back office systems and processes to deliver new products and e-business solutions.  After AT&T, Jim held executive positions at growth companies including Vertek Corporation, Synchronoss Technologies and Avotus Corporation where he built and led professional and managed service teams to deliver business process outsourcing solutions for Fortune 500 clients.

    Jim earned a BA degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College and a MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

    Ivan Latanision

    Vice President, Product Management

    Ivan Latanision is Vice President of Product Management and is responsible for INTTRA's product and channel strategies.

    Prior to joining INTTRA, Ivan was the Chief Technology Officer at SourceMedia, a division of Thomson Financial, where he was responsible for establishing and implementing SourceMedia's technology strategy. In this role, Ivan led the product development, corporate technology and operations functions for online data, information and commercial software businesses which served the financial services industry.

    Prior to joining SourceMedia in 2002, Ivan held the position of Senior Director of Product Marketing at Reciprocal, a startup company that provided solutions for the secure distribution of digital content via the Internet, integrating e-commerce and content management with Digital Rights Management technologies. At Reciprocal, Ivan established the account management organization and was instrumental in bringing the award-winning Reciprocal StorefrontTM product to market.

    Prior to joining Reciprocal in 2000, Ivan held a variety of management roles at Thomson Financial, Greater Media, and Gannett.

    Ivan earned BS and MS degrees from the Rochester Institute of Technology and an MBA from Rutgers University.
