ANL is the Australian-based shipping company that specializes in moving your product between Australia and just about anywhere. Together with our parent company CMA CGM, ANL is able to offer shipping services to all worldwide destinations, including Europe, Mediterranean, North Africa, Pacific Islands, North America, Asia, and many other places.
The Australian Coastal Shipping Commission (ACSC) was established by an Act of Parliament on 1 October 1956, to take over and manage vessels previously under the control of the Australian Shipping Board. On 1 January 1957, Australian Shipping Board commenced the transfer of ownership of the existing vessels and the fleet began operating under the title of the Australian National Line.
Trades
Australia - North & East Asia Service (Japan / Korea and China / East Asia)
Offers a weekly service and 10 dedicated vessels for all destinations in North and East Asia. Split into two loops to ensure fast transit times:
- East Asia / China Loop : Australia - Hong Kong, Taiwan and China - Australia
- Japan / Korea Loop : Australia - Japan (six ports) and Korea - Australia
Australia - South East Asia Service
- Weekly service: Australia - South East Asia - Australia
Round The World Service
- Encompasses eight vessels running east to west at an 11 day frequency
- Runs from Australia to ports in South East Asia, Indian subcontinent, Egypt, Europe, across to ports on the east coast USA and finally to French Polynesia and New Zealand.
Papua New Guinea Service
- Weekly call frequency at Brisbane, Port Moresby and Lae with connecting weekly calls at Melbourne and Sydney.
New Zealand Service
- Eight day frequency with calls at Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Lyttleton, returning to Melbourne.
