In 1951, Carl Fischer founded the shipping company Aliança Navegação e Logística Ltd. & Cia.. In 1998 the company was acquired by the Oetker Group, Germany.

Today the objective of Aliança is fully and continually to satisfy its customers by providing maritime transportation and logistics services, operating with quality under safe conditions, and preserving the marine environment.
