GMC GMC was founded in October 1985 by Mr. Jimmy Chen, today GMC has 42 staff including 23 staff in its Ocean Division, 9 staff in Airfreight Division and 10 full-time experienced Sales Representatives specialized in international Ocean & Air freight transportation management.

On ocean transportation management, GMC specializes in the Trans-Pacific trade NVOCC, freight consolidation, and project forwarding business. Over 6000 FEU (Forty Equivalent Unit) containers ship to USA and Canada alone, including FCL (Full Container Load) and weekly LCL (Less than Container Load) consolidations to Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas/Houston, Boston, Vancouver, and Toronto/Montreal.

On ocean inbound from USA/Canada/Europe to Taiwan, GMC has highly trained and well experienced operation and sales staff handling both LCL and FCL shipments into Taiwan, where the Taiwan customs are known as one of the most strict in the world. GMC's inbound operation and documentation procedures have been certified by ISO 9002 since 1998. GMC was the exclusive agent for Votainer Consolidation world-wide in Taiwan from October 1989 till January 1994 when AEI merged Votainer offices world-wide.
