Fr. Meyer's Sohn (GmbH & Co.) KG, or "FMS" for short, is a Hamburg-based globally active transport and logistics company with more than 400 employees.

We are well known as Europe's biggest independent specialist forwarder in the paper and pulp shipment sector - we move 8.5 million tonnes of forestry products per year. 80% of our total sales are generated from transport and services for the paper industry. Our remaining 20% of sales are generated from the transport of other goods (general cargo) by air, sea, road, rail and inland waterway.

Established on 15 September 1897 in Hamburg, FMS developed a network of branch offices and affiliates in Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Singapore, the UK, the USA, Brazil and China. Beyond our own offices, a worldwide network of general agents and correspondents ensures personal support and assistance that is very close to the customer.
