INTTRA Announces Advanced Tender Response Module for Ocean Carriers

August 26, 2003

Value-added service enhances carrier response efficiency

Parsippany, NJ - August 26, 2003 - INTTRA, Inc. (www.inttra.com), the leading provider of e-business ocean logistics services, today announced the availability of its Advanced Tender Response Module (ATRM), a value-added feature of INTTRA-Tender, INTTRA's ocean transportation procurement application launched in June 2003. ATRM offers advanced features for carrier response to tender such as import/export functions and carrier report summaries. ATRM supplements the current Online Tender Response Module (OTRM) and is available to all carriers and non-vessel-operating-common-carriers (NVOCCs).

"The addition of ATRM to our INTTRA-Tender product allows INTTRA to meet the needs of carriers who wish to realize increased efficiencies in responding to tenders," said Michael Schütt Nielsen, INTTRA Senior Vice President of Global Commercial Sales. "Many of our customers have tenders which can be thousands of line items across many corporate divisions. ATRM makes even these tenders easier to manage. Several customers have already adopted INTTRA-Tender, and since its launch in June, INTTRA has trained personnel from over thirty carriers to respond to live tenders from shippers."

As part of the INTTRA-Tender ocean transportation procurement application, OTRM is available at no charge to all carriers and NVOCCs. ATRM is also available at no charge to all carriers and NVOCCs until November 1, 2003. Thereafter, ATRM will be available at a nominal fee per tender for any non-participating INTTRA carrier and non-participating NVOCC.
