INTTRA expands European-African trade lines with addition of DAL to its global logistics network

Parsippany, New Jersey and Hamburg, Germany - January 15, 2002 - INTTRA (www.inttra.com), the leading provider of B2B ocean freight services, today announced that DAL Deutsche Afrika-Linien GmbH & Co. (www.rantzau.de/), has become the thirteenth carrier to join its global logistics network. DAL boasts more than a century of shipping experience with regular liner services to Southern Africa, West Africa, and the Islands of the Indian Ocean/East Africa. The addition of DAL enhances INTTRA's coverage of the European-African trades, and extends its reach to more than 42% of the world container capacity.

J. Graf Strachwitz, Managing Director of DAL said, "INTTRA is the most efficient answer to today's e-commerce requirements, and allows our customers to manage their container shipments from one portal. With its neutral environment for carriers, shippers, and freight forwarders, INTTRA is driving standards across the industry and improving the most inefficient portion of the supply chain - the process that follows after contract and spot rate negotiations. We are extremely pleased to join the industry's premier container shipping portal."

DAL, a member of the well-diversified Rantzau group, operates liner services between Europe and South Africa and between Europe and East Africa, including the India Ocean islands. INTTRA will manage, host, and transmit DAL bookings, events, and schedules by directly connecting with DAL's internal systems. As a result, DAL will be able to offer its customers a single industry-sponsored portal solution that enables global visibility of ocean-going cargo, displays vessel operating schedules, and provides a standardized and streamlined methodology for booking cargo across multiple carriers.

Henrik Dam Larsen, General Manager European Region of INTTRA said, "We are proud to welcome DAL, a premier shipping company established more than 100 years ago, to the INTTRA global logistics network. The addition of DAL to the INTTRA network benefits existing carriers and customers by expanding our network's overall service capabilities."

INTTRA invites qualified shippers and carriers, freight forwarders, third party logistics providers, brokers, importers, and interactive web portals to join its growing global logistics network.
