INTTRA and Ozdocs Extend Shipping Instruction Software Solution in Australia Market: One of Many INTTRA Global Collaborations with Software Vendors

August 14, 2006

Castle Hill, Australia, August 14, 2006 - Ozdocs (r) International Pty Ltd has agreed with INTTRA to promote an electronic interface between INTTRA’s e-commerce platform and shippers and freight forwarders, using Ozdocs’s products.

INTTRA is the world’s largest multi-carrier e-commerce platform for ocean freight.  For over 20 years Ozdocs has been a key developer of export documentation software and has over 500 active customer sites in eight countries worldwide.  This agreement caps a four-year collaboration between INTTRA and Ozdocs, and reflects INTTRA’s ongoing efforts to collaborate with software vendors worldwide to provide connections to its portal for customers.

INTTRA’s work with Ozdocs has included development of the INTTRA-FIdocs module that provides EDI-based connectivity to INTTRA for shipping instructions.  An integral part of the Ozdoc Export Automation solution, the collaboration with Ozdocs for the promotion of the FIdocs interface “will enhance the Ozdoc export documentation system and allow electronic transmission of messages between the shipper and the INTTRA portal direct to the shippers and their carriers,” said Jimmy Bertos, Director of Sales for INTTRA in Australia.

“INTTRA-FIdocs is a flexible solution that can be used in conjunction with the Ozdocs system, or as a stand-alone system integrated into a customer’s in-house system.  This cooperation between INTTRA and Ozdocs will allow both companies to make the new software available to a large number of users on a free of charge basis, enabling them to improve productivity and documentation turnaround times,” said Bertos.

Pramod Pandey, Research and Development Manager at Ozdocs, says the agreement with INTTRA reflects “Ozdocs’s aim of delivering unprecedented productivity gains to exporters by automating the export documentation process.  Ozdocs offers the most comprehensive export automation solution globally today and the INTTRA-FIdocs solution is another step in this direction.  With the INTTRA-FIdocs solution, exporters can now truly benefit from the advantages of EDI while interfacing with their carriers.”

Like all Ozdocs software, Pandey says INTTRA-FIdocs links seamlessly to an exporter’s in-house enterprise resource planning (ERP), or back-office system, “allowing them to leverage their existing investments.”  He says INTTRA-FIdocs is already installed and running successfully across a number of Ozdocs’s customer sites.  “With INTTRA-FIdocs, exporters benefit from improved accuracy, faster turn-around times and higher productivity, allowing them to be more responsive and productive while keeping administrative costs to a minimum.”

Pandey also says the INTTRA platform is a tremendous benefit to software developers because it provides a single set of standards that allow for easy connectivity.  And INTTRA’s platform goes one step further by supporting a large carrier network.  “By using a single solution supported by INTTRA that covers multiple carriers, software developers can provide the most comprehensive EDI solution to their users.  With INTTRA, software developers can concentrate on their main business - providing solutions for higher productivity,” he said.

“We believe our companies can do great things together,” said Bertos of INTTRA. “Both companies wish to develop other functions together in the future,” he added.
