INTTRA Expands Presence in Indonesia to Meet Growing Market Demand for E-Commerce: Announces New Sales Manager

JAKARTA, INDONESIA, November 12, 2007 -- INTTRA is pleased to announce the appointment of a regional sales manager in Indonesia to provide permanent support for INTTRA’s multi-carrier, e-commerce shipping customers.

INTTRA is the world’s largest e-commerce platform for the ocean industry, with more than 200,000 container orders initiated on the platform per week, which represents almost 10 percent of global ocean container trade per year.

Yusrizal Usman joins INTTRA in the position of Regional Sales Manager, Indonesia, reporting to Ren Yuh Kay, INTTRA Sales Director, South East Asia. This new position reflects the burgeoning demands of the Indonesian market, which has experienced five-fold growth since the beginning of the year.

During the course of 2007 interest in e-commerce has accelerated thanks to the strong support of e-business solutions on the part of some carriers. The shipping documents are then sent via INTTRA to the ocean carrier of the customer’s choice using e-mail or Web services.”

Stephen says Yusrizal Usman’s presence in this region “will help us achieve our goals, and better serve our customers,” adding that the appointment of a regional sales manager should prove “instrumental in providing support for INTTRA’s many carriers to work together to increase e-commerce adoption in Indonesia.”
