INTTRA Community Action Fund Gathers Donations for China Earthquake Relief Efforts
June 10, 2008
PARSIPPANY, NJ, June 10, 2008 – The INTTRA Community Action Fund (ICAF), a fund raising organization of the leading e-commerce portal for the ocean freight industry, today announces the creation of an initiative to raise money for relief efforts in China, following the destructive earthquake that affected the region last month. ICAF will be submitting all donations to the Red Cross of Shanghai, www.redcross.org.
With several offices throughout China, INTTRA is part of the community and shares the concern for those affected by the earthquake that hit the Sichuan Province on May 12th. In response, ICAF developed a donation page on the INTTRA Web site for customers, partners and visitors to make a donation directly to the Red Cross of Shanghai, which has deployed a number of emergency rescue teams and volunteer first aid teams to the area.
With a history of supporting other charitable organizations including The Mission to Seafarers, www.missiontoseafarers.org/, and numerous local charities in the regions around the world, INTTRA promotes a culture of philanthropy among its workers and the industry through the INTTRA Community Action Fund. ICAF sponsors annual projects such as food drives, blood drives, toy banks and other community initiatives.

The deadline for donations has been extended to June 30, 2008. Donations are 100% anonymous and neither INTTRA nor ICAF receive any proceeds or credit for donations.
