Drives efficiency and improved customer service

PARSIPPANY, NEW JERSEY, December 15, 2009 – INTTRA announces today that Cyberfreight Systems Inc., a Canadian transportation and logistics management company, has completed the integration of its systems with the EDI-enabled INTTRA-Link solution.  In an effort to provide superior service to its freight forwarding clients and reduce costs, Cyberfreight chose the INTTRA-Link solution for submission of bookings and draft Bill of Lading (BL) instructions to multiple carriers via a single connection to INTTRA.  Cyberfreight and its carrier partners will benefit from a reduction in parallel manual processes, or rekeying of data, and improved data accuracy, as well as a faster, more streamlined business process.

INTTRA, the leading e-commerce platform for the ocean freight industry, initiates almost 300,000 container orders per week, representing more than 10 percent of global ocean container trade.

"Our integration with INTTRA will enhance the service we offer our customers.  Processing will be faster, visibility and accuracy of shipment data will be improved, and most importantly costs will be reduced," said Jean-Paul Gobeil, Director-International Markets, Cyberfreight Systems Inc.  "Submitting draft Bill of Lading instructions via INTTRA considerably reduces the fees associated with manual submission, such as liner charges and fax or messenger, resulting in significant cost savings.   Additionally, we estimate that shipment processing time will be reduced by an estimated 15-20% which will translate into significant cost savings."

"Customers, such as Cyberfreight, with a high volume of shipping transactions benefit from the ease of a single connection to the INTTRA platform and speed of the INTTRA-Link channel.  Local INTTRA-Link support teams lead customers through the integration process and help them benefit from the industry standards established by INTTRA," said John DeBenedette, INTTRA's VP Commercial.
