APL joins INTTRA e-commerce platform

More flexibility and scale for shippers to transact electronically with APL

Parsippany, N.J., USA, May 19, 2010 – INTTRA announced today that container shipping line, APL has joined the INTTRA e-commerce portal.

The INTTRA network consists of electronic links with over 30 leading ocean carriers and more than 50,000 active network connections with shippers to streamline and standardize processes such as bookings, bills of lading and invoicing. Each week 315,000 container orders are initiated via the INTTRA platform, representing in excess of 10% of global liner shipping trade.
